THE ADJECTIVE
Adjectives are words that describe or give information about things, ideas and people.
The adjective in English never changes, it doesn't matter if the noun is male or female, singular or plural.


THE GIRL IS SAD
THE BOY IS SAD

THE KIDS ARE SAD

The adjectives could be:

Numeric, numbers are adjectives
One, two, three hundred

Quantitative tell the quantity of the noun
Some, half, more, all...

Qualitative describe the features of the noun
Color, size, smell, shape...
-
Possessive show possession
My, your, his, her...
-
Demonstrative indicate not only a specific item or items but also where they are in relation to the speaker
This, that, these, those
-
Interrogative modify nouns and are used to make questions
Whose, what, which

Sometimes in a sentence we need more than one adjective:

TALL
INTELLIGENT
WHITE

HE IS AN INTELLIGENT TALL YOUNG FAT WHITE COLOMBIAN BOY

When you use more than one adjective, you have to put them in the right order, according to the type.
