READING ACTIVITIES

LISTENING ACTIVITIES

Teachers in this section will find many different dynamic activities that could be adapted to every English level, and that will allow their students to participate more actively; this way they will have the opportunity to bring more fun to their classes. Every week this list of activities will be updated.

Teachers in this section will find listening activities classified by topics, since conversations, dialogues to songs.

Every time that teachers and students think about reading, the word "boring" comes to their minds.  Well, reading does not have to be boring at all if we design activities that keep students engage, promote interaction, and the most important that have relevant topics.    Sometimes, we, as teachers, are just sticked to some articles difficult to work in a classroom, but with some imagination those could be also adapted to also bring some fun.

Writing is considered the most difficult skill to be taught, specially because most of ESL students only want to speak the language and they think writing is neither important, nor necessary.  In my experience, writing is as important that I believe the way students write is the way students talk.  Through writing students learn lots of vocabulary, apply what they have learned and organize words in the correct order.
