The simple
past
Use the simple past tense to talk about completed actions or situations.
When talking about past, use the following expressions of time:
Last night, last week, last month,last year, a year ago, a month ago, yesterday, the day before yesterday, In...

Regular verbs change their form to the past by adding -d or -ed:

Irregular verbs do not take the -ed ending. Some verbs do not change and others change completely.

In general, if the verb ends in a consonant add -ed:

If the verb ends in -e add only -d:

Information Questions
To make information questions, just invert the position of the subject by position of the auxiliary and then add the -wh question at the beginning.
